Helpful Packing Tips
Don't compromise on sturdy boxes for all your special items. Lightweight and over used boxes won't provide the protection you need.
Don't over-pack or under-pack your boxes. Box weight should not exceed 50 pounds. A good practice is to put heavier items in smaller boxes and lightweight items in larger boxes.
Do use a permanent marker to label boxes to avoid the guessing game. To save a lot of time at your new home, mark the box with the name of the room that it should be placed.
Write "Fragile" in large letters on boxes with breakable items. Keep all fragile item boxes together. Point them out to your mover on moving day so that special handling is given.
